On a more mundane level, she is highly skilled in computer programming, security technology, and is a trained marksman. Due to (non-obvious) splicing she also has sharp senses and a perfect sense of balance. |
Physical Description
Tia is surprisingly well-favored, standing around 5'7" and in obvious good shape. She has high cheekbones, and her typical expression is an amused grin. Her eyes are a bright sky blue, and her hazel-brown hair is pulled back into a ring braid around the back of her head, secured by a butterfly-shaped clasp with shimmery purple-blue wings. Her bangs are combed to the side and hang down in front of her ears. She wears a simple outfit; the top is a long-sleeved, form-fitting black cotton top that reaches to miniskirt length; the upper torso over her chest is decorated with a symmetric geometric pattern in rich purple thread. A bit of thigh is visible before her legs are covered in hip-high leggings of the same rich purple as the embroidery, down to a pair of simple black flats. She wears a pair of brown leather belts in a wide, low X-shape around her waist low; a small satchel hangs at her right side attached to the belts.
Background
Not much is known about Hestia Richter; she herself admits to having partial amnesia, with few memories of her own past before her late teens. Her first consistent memories are of living in Red New York City, spending time pulling herself together post-amnesia event and then working as a computer security specialist for the city administration. Eventually she left that job to work as a freelancer, and she has a relatively good reputation on Mars as someone to go to for security-related technological problems. Of course, her reputation extends beyond the level of the legal in those matters.
Those who've dealt with her describe Tia as a ridiculous thrillseeker; she welcomes risks and often those risks pay off for her. She is a bit of an adrenaline junkie and has a number of physically-based hobbies, including a number of sports relying on speed and precision. It's entirely likely that if she were given an offer to apply her talents to a chainjumper crew, she would in a heartbeat.
