Wiki Progress

I am currently summarizing game sessions into the wiki and using those as jumping-off points for further articles. It seems to be working well; I'm up through Episode 05-1 of ATC2, and I've already added a ton of new content. Todd has helped - more than he knows, since I've taken large chunks of his ATC Encyclopedia wholesale, with little more than tense changes. Most of the ATC1 players have signed up and added their character pages, to boot.

Still stuff to do, like making my ramblings read well, or adding stuff you remember from other sessions or chats, etc.

Working Files

There's will likely be a number of files that are used for keeping track of shit what needs be done.

Jargon File is the first.
Flavor Concepts is a file with random flavor words, events, and concepts which make sense and don't qualify for the Jargon File as a result of not being jargon.
Random Locations has places the ATC characters have been over the course of the games which aren't extremely major (like RNYC). Most of these places are probably bars.
Mysteries of the ATCverse covers open threads from the games that have never quite been adequately explained...

Stuff that will get pushed up as we run out of things to do

Overview

The ATC game series (named after the Andressen Tofu Corporation, which features heavily in it) consists of:

The games are run on #besm, which sports a host of other games for your fun and enjoyment.

History of the RP Campaign

The ATC series arguably began with an offline campaign in the spring of 2002. After summer came it died, but then in the fall it migrated into an online game which ran for 47 sessions, and ended in the early fall of 2003, just about a year later. ATC1 followed the exploits of the Europa Team.

Shortly after ATC1 ended, ATC2 began. It ended in May of 2006 and revolved around a group of unlikely heroes who helped combat the Brain Flu.

ATC3.1, originally a time-travel campaign, began and ended in the third quarter of 2007, running from July to August. It is set to re-start as ATC3 with, instead of time-travel, using space travel in a very much Star Trek-esque type premise in September of 2008.

ATC1 ran using the BESM 2e rules, while ATC2 used a heavily modified version of said rules. ATC3.1 used Tri-Stat dX, and ATC3 is the first ATC game to run using the BESM 3e rules.
