[20:27] * Illyana sits near the campfire, inspecting the corpses of the
dog-things.

[20:29] <Chamelaeon> <<It is very quiet. There are no night noises at all.>>
[20:30] * Chako is sitting. She's twitching her right arm in the suit slightly.
[20:31] <Chako> It's not like we know where we are. Could be anything.
[20:33] <Chamelaeon> <<The stars glitter overhead through the holes in the dome.
You can see the edge of the thirteenth moon you've counted this night just
sneaking into view through another hole.>>

[20:35] * Chako tosses her head dismissively, and glances at the mooon. "It'd be
nice not to be in the middle-a nowhere, too."

superstitious.
[20:37] * Charlie gets up and starts to pace.
[20:38] <Chamelaeon> (Still alive, Illy? ^^;)
[20:38] * Charlie turns to Chako, "We got any plans, Cap?"
[20:39] * Chako shakes her head slightly. "Not really. We go back, we're pinned
down in that cave, if we can get back at all."

[20:51] <Illyana> They didn't show on the sensors for that very reason. I ought
to be able to fix them to do so.

[20:52] <Illyana> So in a roundabout way, yes, I've found a way that will make
them easier to find, and therefore kill.
[20:53] <Chako> Great stuff.
[20:55] <Chamelaeon> <<As the firelight flickers and flares for a moment, you
get a better look around you. It appears that the dome's about 300 yards across.
Half of it is filled with tall things, half of it appears to be pocked with
holes at regular intervals. You think you see a larger darker area at the far
end, but you're not too sure.>>
[20:57] <Chamelaeon> <<The thirteenth moon also makes it easier to see. It's a
bright one.>>
[20:58] * Chako picks up a loose random object and tries to crush it. "Blasted
Hippies."
[20:59] <Charlie> hmm, I bet I could help you modify the sensors, Illyana.
[20:59] <Charlie> I know a little about 'em.
[20:59] * Illyana shrugs. "If you think you can hande it, feel free."

[21:04] * Chako moves around slightly, and starts doing push-ups. This isn't the
first time she has, of course. Something about trying to get used to exertion in
gravity.
[21:04] <Chamelaeon> <<It takes about five minutes to calibrate and tune them so
they don't pick up random air currents.>>

[21:07] <Chamelaeon> <<Nothing in the vicinity at all, although the sensors pick
up the corpses this time.>>
[21:08] <Charlie> Looks good.
[21:08] * Illyana nods again.
[21:10] * Chako looks up from her push-ups. "Got them sensors all worked out,
then?"
[21:10] <Chamelaeon> <<The tall things appear to be large glass ... blenders?
And the holes are revealed to be dips in the floor, about six feet deep.

[21:11] <Charlie> They're pickin' up the dead dogs now.
[21:12] * Chako stops and pulls herself around into a sitting position. "Good
job. Ya wanna mod me up, then, Illyana?"
[21:13] <Charlie> Should I look for the other two, or wait 'till they get back?
[21:14] * Illyana nods and gets to work on Chako's sensors.
[21:14] <Illyana> Should probably wait.
[21:15] <Charlie> No prob. There's nothing else nearby just yet anyway.
[21:17] * Chako sits mostly still, and gets a nice static view of the dome while
doing so. "Weird stuff in here. Could make a huge margarita in a blender that
big."
[21:20] <Charlie> heh, I could prob'ly use one.. I don't like this place.
[21:20] <Illyana> Mm
[21:20] * Chako grins faintly. "I'm all with ya there, Charlie."
[21:21] <Charlie> Hard not knowin' where we are.. personally.
[21:22] * Chako doesn't respond to that.
[21:24] * Charlie fidgets a little, then wanders over to a "blender"
[21:25] <Chamelaeon> <<It's a funny looking thing. The glass is broken, a vine
having grown through it. A small panel of controls sits below the glass.>>
[21:26] * Illyana yawns.
[21:26] <Chamelaeon> <<There's nothing inside the glass but air. A shattered
lamp of some sort sits askew at the bottom, shoved aside by the vine.>>
[21:27] * Charlie touches what looks like an important button, not expecting
much.
[21:29] <Chamelaeon> <<The blender sparks to life, and a vague image appears in
the air for a split second before the lamp explodes outward in a flash of blue
fire. It looked a lot like the script you saw earlier.>>
[21:30] <Charlie> "Oof, lovely." he mutters.
[21:30] * Chako blinks. "What'd ya do, Charlie?"
[21:31] <Charlie> Tapped a button. It had some o' that script, or somethin'
before it died.
[21:31] <Illyana> 2d6+5
[21:31] * Atom rolls for Illyana (2d6+5) and gets 12.
[21:32] <Charlie> They're probably all busted..

[21:35] * Charlie walks to the next nearest "blender" and taps the same place on

[21:36] <Chamelaeon> <<They have indeed. It took longer since Illy had to do it
with the arm panel.>>
[21:36] * Charlie pokes a different button, just in case.

[21:38] * Chako has pretty sensors. "Thank ya, Aliyeva."
[21:38] * Illyana nods.
[21:40] * Charlie heads back to the fire. "They almost all have vines on them. I
doubt any work."
[21:41] * Chako starts doing jumping jacks, of a sort. "That's... too bad... no
margaritas yet."
[21:42] <Illyana> I doubt you could use them for margaritas even if they did
work.
[21:43] <Chako> Yeah. We'll never get enough limes.
[21:43] * Chako frowns. "Did everything suddenly get lighter for all of ya?"
[21:43] <Charlie> a'yup... wait. My suit's registering 2 G's now.. Are yours?
[21:43] <Illyana> I hadn't noticed.
[21:44] <Illyana> Or... maybe not.
[21:44] * Chako is still doing jumping jacks.

[21:47] * Atom rolls for Illyana (2d6-4) and gets 6.
[21:49] * Illyana points towards the moon overhead. "More than likely, it's
caused by that."
[21:52] <Chamelaeon> <<The moon looks back disapprovingly. But it can't talk,
and it's moving awfully fast for a moon. Already, it's getting darker inside the
dome as the moon moves away from the hole.>>
[21:52] * Chako just says, "Huh," and starts doing stretches. "Still have to get
used to... supergravity."
[21:54] <Chamelaeon> <<Another few minutes and the moon is gone. The fire is
once again the only light. It's now been about eleven hours since you arrived
here, and Brett's gotta go so we'll close this off, aight?>>
